Terms of Service

By using asarOS ("the Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use asarOS.

asarOS is a personal productivity and life-management application. It provides tools for task management, habit tracking, journalling, finance tracking, and related personal productivity functions.

The Service is provided on an as-is basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime.

You may use asarOS as a guest without an account. For cloud sync and cross-device access, you must register with a valid email address.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You may not share your account or use another person's account without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or misuse the Service.

You retain full ownership of all content you create in asarOS — tasks, notes, diary entries, financial records, and all other personal data.

When you enable cloud sync, your data is stored in your own Google Drive or Dropbox account. We do not access, process, or claim any rights to that content beyond what is necessary to operate the sync feature on your behalf.

You are responsible for backing up your own data. We are not liable for data loss arising from device failure, browser storage limits, or third-party cloud provider outages.

asarOS offers a free tier (Guest) and paid plans (Pro, Team). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.

All payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing you agree to Razorpay's terms of service.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel anytime from your Profile page. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to registered users.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use the Service to store or distribute illegal content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our infrastructure
• Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission

asarOS may display third-party advertisements on certain pages of the marketing website (asaros.app) to support ongoing development. Advertisements are served by Google AdSense and are subject to Google's advertising policies. The authenticated application dashboard does not show advertisements.

The asarOS name, logo, design, and codebase are owned by asarOS and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy or reproduce the brand or product without written permission.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or ₹500, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

We may update these Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
